Oscar Munguia completed his degree at Hofstra University and receiving his Bachelor of Science in Music Education. As a proficient multi-instrumentalist, Oscar has performed in the Hofstra bands on saxophone and alto-clarinet, Hofstra orchestras on bass clarinet, clarinet, and saxophone, and sang in the Hofstra Chorale and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. During his time at Hofstra, he studied conducting with Dr. David Fryling and Professor David Soto. Oscar taught in multiple religious-sector schools, ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade. He taught ukulele, band instruments, and violin. Oscar has played woodwinds in the pit for local theater productions.
